Among My Swan
Identity, packaging, environmental, poster design
This project is an identity study of Mazzy Star’s third album
Among My Swan. Playing with alternative rock, neo-psychedelic, and dream pop genres, the record captures the group’s melancholic and mysterious sound. Using muted colors, high contrasts, a neo-classical typeface and script, as well as 19th-century paintings of swans, I created a new visual system for the record.
The project includes promotional posters, merchandise, and record designs.
